About the Role

As a machine operator, you will work with band saws, CNC milling machines, tube drawing equipment, and heavy lifting in connection with material processing and preparatory work around steam generators.

The work may include:

·       Operating band saws, CNC, and robotic equipment

·       Heavy lifting and material handling

·       Measurement, drilling, and basic welding tasks

·       Forklift and overhead crane operation

·       Monitoring, adjustments, and troubleshooting

Who We Are Looking For

This is a role for you who enjoys technology, machines, and varied practical work. You are a technically curious and hands-on operator who thrives close to production and has experience in machine operation, preferably within the industry. The work is physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical shape and enjoy working with your body.

You are:

• Detail-oriented, structured, and safety-conscious
• Independent but also enjoy working in a team
• Confident in reading instructions and handling advanced equipment

Requirements:

• Experience with remote-controlled/robotic machines (e.g., Brokk)
• Practical technical skills & troubleshooting
• Welding experience
• Swedish & English
• Computer skills (Office 365)
• Driving license B + car
• Able to work continuous 3-shift

Meritorious:

• Radiation protection competence
• Forklift and overhead crane licenses

The work location is Studsvik outside Nyköping and the work is on-site. This recruitment process includes a background check that compiles previous public criminal records. The background check consists of public information that is handled confidentially. A security interview is also conducted where financial stability is a requirement.
